Pacific Coast Aggregates
Eight shots, early 1970s,
all mine, of the electric operation at the Pacific Coast Agregates plant
in Davenport, CA. The passenger car was used to move the troops up
to the pit. The electric motors were used to bring down the agregate
in the hopper cars pictured. The operation was junked and a conveyor
belt system installed shortly after my visit. No, it wasn't my fault.
