Key West Electric Co.
The Key West Street Car Co. operated a mule car line with eight cars.  It passed to the Key West Electric Co. in 1898, and was electrified with seven ten bench open cars, five from St. Louis Car and two from Brill.  The 1902 Census reports seven open motor cars and one work motor, while the 1907 Census reports nine open motor cars and one sprinkler/sweeper motor. Financial Chronicle in 1908 reports 10 cars and the 1918 McGraw Hill Directory reports nine passenger cars and one other car.  Since the 1899, 1900 and 1905 issues of American Street Railway Investments also report eight trail cars, it is possible that the old mule cars were retained for peaks.
