Southern Iowa Railway
In the early 1960's, the
SIR had a few boomer cars that operated for a while on the railroad for
fan trips. This is Waterloo, Cedar Falls & Northern #100, the
only interurban that survived the roundhouse fire in Waterloo. The
car later went to the Iowa Terminal Railroad in Mason City, where it did
not escape another fire.
