Lew Shapiro's Indiana
Car 154 of the R.& E.
taken on the line between Rochester and Geneva, NY to demonstrate General
Railway Signal installation. G.R.S. was located in Rochester; I believe
it is still in business. The R.& E. later became part of the New York
State Railways
and in its last couple of
years (it was abandoned in 1930) entered Rochester over the Rochester Rapid
Transit and Industrial Subway.
