Eastern Massachusetts
Street Railway
Broadway in Revere, facing
south, the fire station
in the background still
stands! The front doors of the fire station are facing Central Ave.
The trolleys pulled up next to the fire station (where the truck is in
the photo) and could exit behind the station onto Park Ave., thus avoiding
the intesection of Broadway & Park ave. which even today is very busy.
The tracks next to and behind the fire station were there until just a
few years ago. They then headed towards Everett along Park Ave. There
are catenary poles still standing
on Park Ave.
