Norumbega Park, seen here
in this 1898 view, shows an open car in the yard. This building was
the railway's main facility building where passengers got on and off to
enter the park up behind the water tower. The dance hall was located
on the second floor of this building. The building had four one car
deep bays to store cars when people were coming out of the park and there
was one through track that came out behind the building back on to Commonwealth
Avenue.
