Coast Traction Co.
This system ran a
long suburban line along the Gulf of Mexico between Biloxi, Gulfport &
Pass Christian between 1905 & 1926. City streetcars also ran
in Gulfport and Biloxi. The last city lines in Biloxi were abandoned
in 1932. However, a short "freight only" line serving the canneries
carried on in Biloxi until 1949.
