Greenville Street Railway
This view is taken
on South Poplar Street in downtown
Greenville. Streetcars
ran in this Delta city from 1901 until May 21, 1929. There were 8
miles of track. In 1921 the company modernized by buying 5 brand
new Birneys from American Car Co which were the only cars in service in
the later years.
