Lincoln
Lincoln Traction
A later view of the 303
with a different paint scheme. This is actually the early National
City Lines scheme, also used in El Paso on the streetcars and on Glendale
City Lines. It was superseded by the fruit salad paint scheme when E. Roy
Fitzgerald bought LARy. He liked the chrome yellow-lemon yellow paint scheme
so much that he adapted the chrome yellow as the standard color below the
belt rail.
Taken on November 23, 1944.
