Oneonta
Southern New York Railway
Between 1906 and 1916 the
line was known as the Otsego and Herkimer Railroad and after 1916 was known
as the Southern New York. It lasted as a diesel line with vestiages
remaining around Oneonta into the 1950s when it was owned by the Saltzburg
family who had scrapped the NWNW and others.
