New York
Oneonta
Southern New York Railway
Southern New York operated
between Oneonta and Richfield Springs in central New York. It was
a freight only operation through the thirties
(passenger service abandoned
about 1930), but retained a couple
interurbans for fantrips.
Bob Lewis, who is still very much alive rode
and photographed a couple
of them. It ended its days in the early 1950s with one GE diesel
operating around Oneonta switching cars off the D&H.
