Stark Electric
#44, Cincinnati Car Co.
built, 1926. Photo taken on a fan trip on trackage of the Inter-City
Rapid Transit Co. in the middle of Lincoln Highway between Massillon and
Canton. This car had been rebuilt by Stark Electric into a double-end
car for use in local streetcar service in Alliance, Ohio. It was
sold in 1939 to Birmingham Electric Co., rebuilt by Perley Thomas Car Co.
into a single-end center exit car and renumbered 544 for use in Birmingham.
