Morrisville
Pennsylvania-New Jersey
Railway
#125 at the end of the line
in Yardley, PA. This was a broad gauge trolley system. Part of its
ill-conceived purchase of four-wheel Birneys went second hand to Philadelphia
Rapid Transit. Imagine buying single-truck cars for long suburban routes!
The replacement Perley Thomas cars shown in the previous picture obviously
gave a better suburban ride since some lasted until the end of service.
