Tarentum
Tarentum, Brackenridge &
Butler
Like many such lines it
never reached its terminal city name. It fell short of Butler by
about 20 miles, hence the locals always called it the Tarentum, Brackenridge
& Birdville (local name for a section of Harrison Township).
The car in the photo was replaced by cars bought from West Penn Railway
sometime around 1920. The line was abandoned in 1937.
