Delson-St. Constant
Canadian Railway Museum
This unusual streetcar is
Ottawa Transportation Commission #423, a sand car that was originally built
as an RPO (Railway Post Office) car. Constructed by the Ottawa Car
Company in 1906, it was designed to carry Royal Mail and was only later
converted to work service. The car is preserved in good condition
at the Canadian Railway Museum in Delson-St. Constant, Quebec.
