Delson-St. Constant
Canadian Railway Museum
The oldest electric locomotive
in Canada is this steeplecab, Courtaulds #7. It was built by the Montreal
Street Railway in 1900 and was originally Shawinigan Falls Terminal #1.
It later became Niagara St. Catherines & Toronto #7 and Cornwall Street
Railway Light & Power #7 before being sold to Courtaulds. It
is now preserved at the Canadian Railway Museum in Delson-St. Constant,
Quebec, and recently saw restoration work.
