Sioux Falls Traction System

#949 which became SFTS car #12. This is a 26 foot, single-truck "convention
car" built for exhibition by the St. Louis Car Company in 1912. It
was originally given the number 100. It was a sample demonstrator
car, exhibited at a 1912 convention as St.
Louis Car Co. #100.
Half the car was complete, the other half in skeleton form to show lightness
of new steel construction.
