Springfield Terminal Railway
Car 16 met all the B&M
passenger trains at Charlestown, NH and carried passengers and express
over the Connecticut River to Springfield
Vermont, 8 miles west until
1947. Freight service continued with electric locos until October
31, 1956. Car 16 is preserved at the Connecticut Electric Railway
museum at Warehouse Point, Conn.
