This appears to be Rankin Car House where cars were stored. PRCo stored unneeded cars here but removed and kept batteries and other hardware in case the cars needed to be pressed into service. If such demand did not happen, the older cars were then scrapped. Here we see PCCs, possibly a 1400- or 1500-series on our left, and an old 4000- or 4100-series cars converted for work service with an "M"-number. Rankin Car House was on the 67-Swissvale line just outbound of the Rankin bridge.
