This is an early to mid-1930s photo marking the beginning of South Park Service on the Charleroi Interurban. This is Latimer Stop. Demand was so great the stop was eventually moved to Mesta where more staging for transfer to bus could be accommodated. The 3800-series St.Louis Car interurban heading outbound away from us may still be single-digit in age! The 3750 low-floor car is heading inbound to Pittsburgh.
