1106 is on an unusual diversion routing turning from southbound Grant St to eastbound Fourth Ave - where it will rejoin the normal downtown loop for routes 64, 66, 67, 68, and 69. Downtown Pittsburgh was loaded with seemingly useless special work that would come in handy when events like parades or public safety emergencies prevented use of the regular routing
