Interurban PCC 1613 follows a 3750 series suburban low floor car southbound at County Home Siding, awaiting the northbound approach of another low floor car from Washington. The reason for all of this congestion is the 1948 Washington County Fair. What's interesting about this photo is that this is now the site of Pennsylvania Trolley Museum and 1613 [later renumbered by PAT as 1799] now sits in storage on County Home Siding, just a few hundred feet from where it was in this photo. The Museum continues to serve the County Fair each August using Pittsburgh low floor car 3756 and other classic equipment.
