Rear view of 1621 inbound (northbound) at Bon Air siding waiting for a signal. Approaching is an outbound 1601-series car. Both of these cars are city cars which were used as trippers to Castle Shannon and West Library on the Charleroi line (this before Simmons loop was built as the terminal.) Headway thru Overbrook to Castle Shannon was 6-8-minutes midday into the early 1950s with both interurban lines running in tandem and limited stops thru the single track area.
