1734 inbound at Rankin Circle on the 67-SWISSVALE-RANKIN-BRADDOCK. The name Rankin Circle was a holdover from the days of the previous incarnation of the Rankin Bridge across the Monongahela River at this location. That earlier bridge did have a traffic circle at its north end and the trolleys could do 360 degree turns. The later arrangement pictured here was no less remarkable - a streetcar cloverleaf interchange.
