Pennsylvania Trolley
Museum
Washington, Pennsylvania
Pittsburgh crane car M283
engaged in building the Museum's track extension. This new track
roughly follows the alignment of the original interurban that was torn
up in 1954. [Utility conflicts prevented
restoring the track to exactly
where the old line was located.] By mid-summer 2002, the PTM
main line will have been extended 2,100 feet further toward Pittsburgh.
A second loop will be built by 2004.
