The first passenger car
to make a complete circuit of Pennsylvania Trolley Museum's new McClane
Loop. The car is Pittsburgh Railways Company PCC 1711, which
had been the last regularly-scheduled interurban car to pass through this
location back in August of 1953. That's me on the right, shaking
hands with PTM Way & Track manager Dan Bower. Track ballasting
is now underway and the loop will be in service for the dedication of completely
restored Philadelphia Suburban Transportation Company "Louie" car 14 on
June 26, 2004.
