411 leading a southbound extra crosses Hazel Ave. in Glencoe on the gauntlet track. Notice how the track does not follow the alignment of the bridge. The photographer was standing atop the cinder pile dumped on top of Greenbay Rd. in an effort to shore up the stone retaining wall. Notice the out of plumb condition of the wall at the far end of the bridge. The section of Green Bay Rd visible in the background had been closed off permitting the Glencoe Station to be placed in the street near Park Ave one block north.
