Ex-Chicago Aurora & Elgin 317 is a wooden interurban car built in 1914 by Jewett.
It was acquired by the Railway Equipment Leasing & Investment Corporation (now Fox River Trolley Museum) in 1962 when the CA&E fleet was scrapped.
It operated for years at RELIC, but for the past decade or so had been stored inside the FRTM barn, shown here circa 1998
