Ex-Chicago Surface Lines F-305 is a large snow plow that was originally built as sprinkler car D-303. In 1930, with the number of dirt streets requiring sprinklers declining, D-303 was rebuilt as a snow plow.

In 1930, with the number of dirt streets requiring sprinklers declining, D-303 was rebuilt as a snow plow. It was acquired by the Electric Railway Historical Society in 1958, transferred to the Illinois Railway Museum in 1973 and seen here on March 13 2004
