This car has an interesting history. It was oringinally built in 1915 as Portland Eugene & Eastern combine 452 by Brill, and ran on that line until sold to Pacific Electric in 1930, seen here on August 7 2004. First rebuilt as freight motor 1450, in 1936 it was rebuilt again as freight/RPO motor 1406 and then again in 1950 as wrecker 008 Finally retired in 1959, its body remained in a junk yard until 1992, and subsequently was reunited with its original trucks, which had been acquired by OERM in 1959.
