Ex-Pacific Electric 538 is the only complete surviving PE Five series medium interurban car, seen here on August 7 2004.
Built by St Louis in 1909, it ran on the PE until 1937 when it was acquired by Warner Brothers movie studios for use as a prop. OERM acquired the car in 1959.
