Ex-Pacific Electric 637 is the oldest Hollywood suburban car preserved at OERM, having been built by St Louis in 1922, seen here on August 7 2004. Rebuilt around 1940, PE later renumbered it to 5112 and later Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority renumbered it to 1801 before retirement in 1960. It is cosmetically restored to its attractive 1940s appearance but is not operational.
