As can be seen in this photo from May 30 2001, the interior of ex-DC Transit 1470 (at the Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke VA) is in excellent shape. Only the ceiling looks bad, and it could be easily repaired with only a coat of paint. Unfortunately, the car appears to suffer from neglect.
