A northbound car in the 1550 class pulling a 1600 class trailer on the major 24 St. Denis route. The route looked like an upside down L linking downtown Montreal with the northeast at Sault au Recollet or the (City) Limits loop. The City limits at the time were roughly where St. Michel Boulevard is today. While trailers were not used extensively in Montreal, the units saw service on the busy St Denis and St Lawrence routes. They were also used on the Lachine, Ontario and St Catherine routes especially during rush hours.
