Part of a 1924 order of 25 cars from Canadian Car & Foundry, car 1806 is a lead car for trailers in the 1625 and 1675 classes. Car 1801 from this class has been preserved at Exporail, the Canadian railway museum just south of Montreal. Car 1806 is running as a 23 St. Denis - Ahuntsic a rush hour route between Ahuntsic in the north where the photo was taken, to Victoria Square downtown. It supplemented the 24 St. Denis.
