Birney car 200 is being prepared at the Mount Royal carhouse August 30 1959 for a final parade of streetcars on Papineau to mark the end of streetcar service in Montreal. These small cars were bought second hand from Detroit in 1924 and ran on various routes that had light passenger traffic. Interestingly, car 200 is painted in the green two-man car colors although it was a single-man car.
