#2520 is at the legendary
DeKalb Shops in Ridgewood, Queens, the main shop of the B&QT surface
rail system. Note the PCC car to the right in its original 1936 pachyderm
grey paint scheme. That indicates that the photo was taken no later
than 1947, for that is when the City's Board of Transportation adopted
the blue & silver paint scheme for its surface vehicles.
