This
unusual critter is a dockside car pusher from the Pennsylvania
Railroad. The Pennsy
used electric locomotives like these to shove ore cars around the Cleveland
docks. The locomotives got current from a third rail between the
running rails, and were 3'6" gauge. This example, built by the Atlas
Car Company, is displayed at the Lake Shore Railway Museum.
