Looking west on north edge of South Hills Car House yard. On the east edge are two revenue tracks for the 38, 39, 42 and 43, then six outdoor yard tracks (the second a stub track), and then two buildings, each with four tracks and pits. A total of sixteen tracks in all. Track 14 coming out of the south end of the building does a 180 to track 6 and also forms a double wye at this location to turn cars and get them into one of the buildings or facing north on other yard tracks for Pull-Out. All cars pull in facing south; most but not all have to be turned. For the morning pull out to the 38, 39, 42, and 43 lines, the cars facing south are moved further south and pull out to their respective routes.
