We are on the north edge of South Hills Yard on the west side, looking south. PCCs on our far left appear to be on track 1, the 17-series PCC Interurban appears to be on track 5 with one more exterior track 6 to our right of the car. We see Tracks 7-8-9-10 into the first building. Because of angle of ladder track the second building is further south but adjoins this building -- it has tracks 11-12-13-14.
The back of the yellow//blue car on our right is 1467, the WABCo car leased for testing automation. Tests were done on the Library Interurban between otherwise unused West Library Loop and Castle Shannon and/or South Hills Junction. This car is now at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum
On our left in the distance is a 1700-series car apparently outbound on the 38, 39, 42, or 43. It shall curve modestly to our left. At this point the north ladder track of the East Yard joins the inbound/northbound main. Thus the revenue cars run in the middle of the yard with stored cars on either side!
