The second and third cars ever acquired by the Illinois Railway Museum were Milwaukee Electric interurbans, of which this is one, seen here on April 10 2004.
TMER&L 1135 was originally built by Kuhlman in 1909 as Wisconsin Traction Light Heat & Power 102, and in 1924 the TM rebuilt it into the parlor car Menominee.
It was later rebuilt into a coach but retained its wide windows and solarium rear end.
In 1941 it was retired and sold to the London & Port Stanley in Ontario, where it served as L&PS 16 until IRM acquired the car in 1955.
