Broad Street Subway 1 was the first car built for that system by Brill in 1927. After it was retired around 1985, it was repainted in its original color scheme of dark green and cream with a red roof. Operated on several fan trips in the late 1980s and early 1990s, it is seen here in dead storage at Fern Rock Yard on June 26 2003
