Car 1, the earliest of the four sightseeing observation cars built in 1905 by the Montreal Street Railway Company at their east end Hochelaga Shops. The Montreal Street Railway was a Montreal Tramways Company predecessor. Plans for these cars were sold to streetcar companies in Quebec City, Calgary and Vancouver, all of whom built their own versions. The cars operated in summertime service until the end of the season in 1957 after which there wasn't enough track left on which to do a circuit. Cars however were still available for charter trips in 1958. Car 1 is northbound on Park just south of Laurier Ave.
